The South West PB Series is a monthly 5km road race that takes place on a fast, enclosed, cycle circuit. The course consists of 3 full laps of the circuit plus a 625m downhill run to the finish, making it extremely fast, and a great course for friends, family and training partners to come along and support.
The course has been officially measured and all results will be uploaded to Run Britain and Power of 10 after each event.

The Bristol Track Club 5km
& Junior 3km
The BTC 5k is an annual event held at Odd Down Cycle Circuit in the spring. We held our first ever BTC Race Day in May 2021 where we invited elite runners to come along, run fast, and compete for some prize money. We saw wins from international runners Josh Grace (14.12) and Charlotte Arter (16.10).
Since then, we have hosted the same race each year with the same idea of inviting elite runners to come and compete hard for some cash and prizes, while hosting open events on the same day for runners of all levels to lay down an early season 5k pb, plus a junior 3km race on the same course.
Current course records stand at 13.49 in the men's field set by Irish International Effrem Gidey in 2023 and 15.09 set by GB International Innes Fitzgerald.
Back in April 2027
The BTC5K will return to Odd Down Cycle Circuit in April 2027 with music, entertainment, live commentary, live stream and an amazing atmosphere. We will be hosting multiple waves of 5km races plus junior 3km races, plus a 5km Wheelchair Race.
